Tales

Some day  [perhaps today]  you will be old enough to start reading fairy tales again.
~ C.S. Lewis ~

Once Upon a Journey ▪ I

A wren, bewitched and exiled by a rejected suitor, returns against impossible odds to attempt the rescue of her imprisoned love—bewitched as a raven.

Fables

The wisdom of the wise and the experience of the ages is preserved into perpetuity by a nation’s proverbs, fables, folk sayings and quotations.
~ William Feather ~

A fable in verse about a brash, young fly and a shrewd, old spider.

Come listen to this tale (almost of woe)
Of a young fly’s misadventure,
just a short time ago.

Theatre

The theater is one of the few places left in the bright and noisy world where we sit in the quiet dark together, to be awake.
~ Sarah Ruhl ~

A one-act, one-person play that reconsiders the generally-accepted account of Simon Peter and his denial on the night of the trials of Jesus of Nazareth.

Fiction

“The story you are about to read is a work of fiction. Nothing – and everything – about it is real.”
~ Todd Strasser  ~

“Parson’s Corner” is the  story of American-born Maria Lewis (1933-2014) who became the European singing sensation, Mya Loden in the 1950s/60s. This novelette explores the enduring theme of family ties that try to bind—of misunderstanding, estrangement, and longed-for reconciliation between a father and his gifted daughter.
